Well, it’s time to say how my German is making progress. Before this course I could hardly order a coffee in a restaurant, but now I feel that I can speak freely, with plenty of mistakes of course, but I’m still learning!
One of very useful topics I’ve learned so far is Relativsatz, it’s very helpful in explaining yourself while having a simple talk with friends. It also helps in building shorter sentences. For example instead of saying “Das ist ein Kuchen. Meine Mutter macht den Kuchen aus Mehl, Ei, Zucker usw.” you can say it shorter: “Das ist ein Kuchen, den meine Mutter aus Mehl, Ei und Zucker macht”. Cool, isn’t it??
