Ich habe euch gesagt, wie kompliziert “Könnten und Sollten” sind, aber ich war falsch. Es ist nicht so kompliziert, aber was sowohl kompliziert als auch super wichtig ist, ist deine Artikel und Kasus zu erinnern.

Du musst immer, immer, immer die Artikeln kennen. Das Problem von dem Kasus ist ein bisschen einfacher zu lösen wenn du den Artikel kennst. Ich habe auch über die Wichtigkeit von einer Erinnerungs-Tabelle für Dativ, Akkusativ und Nominativ gesprochen.

Ich habe heute auch gelernt, dass es ist ein bisschen einfacher Deutsch zu lernen, wenn du an einem schönen Platz bist. Ich habe meine Hausaufgabe im Hugendubel am Karlsplatz gemacht. Es war sehr schön und der Kaffee war auch lecker!

I have told you how complicated “Könnten und Sollten” are but I was wrong. It is not complicated, what is both complicated and super important is that you remember your articles and cases.

It is very, very, very important that you know your articles. I have also mentioned the importance of using a table to help you remember your cases (Dative, Nominative & Accusative).

Today I learned that it is a little easier to learn German when you are in a pretty place. I did my German homework at Hugendubel in Karlsplatz. It was very pretty and the coffee was great.

Ich verstehe die Regeln so:

“Könnten und Sollten” brauchst du wenn du in der Zukunft sprechen will. Die Regeln sind gleich mit “Soll und Können”.

Du kannst es mit Präsens oder Präteritum benutzen und kannst auch Geschichten in der Vergangenheit erzählen. Es ist ein bisschen kompliziert aber es hilft wenn du sprechen willst. Du kannst es auch benutzen wenn du Beratung geben oder erhalten.

Es ist kompliziert, weil du dich an die Artikel erinnern musst und deine Sätze richtig konjugieren willst.

This is how I understand the rules:

You use “Könnten und Sollten” when you want to speak in Future Tense. The rules are the same as “Soll und Können”.

You can use it with Present Tense or Präteritum and you can use it when telling stories in the past. It is a bit complicated but it helps when you want to speak about things. You can also use it when you want to give orders or advice.

It is complicated because you have to remember your articles (the cases change) and, as a result, you have to remember to correctly conjugate your sentences.
