OKTOBERFEST!!

Hey leute,

Yeah I´ve lived it and was quite wild….lots of fun….lots of beer..to be more precise..over 6 million liters of beer are consumed every year…but let me tell you some advices about it. Actually I had the opportunity to go twice in 2009, and I went with friends that I meet during my time in Cologne (Köln). You will see many of them in the picture, the group was quite mix..americans, spanish, mexican, korean, taiwanish and some french. So, First of all, try to go as early as possible, as might knot it gets really but really full…so take your time and plan the trip in advance…as you might know as well..it´s really expensive..so my suggestion is to drink something in your place, hostal or wherever far from the oktoberfest, everything around is quite expensive. If you decide to go a bit late will be quite hard to get into a tent, which is highly recommended by me if you want to experience the real german tradition, but what we did was different and risky but it worked for us…so here´s the story…we were a group of almost 15 people and getting in was a big problem but another friend and me decided to try to get in from the kitchen…yeah…the kitchen staff have a area where they go to smoke or just rest…and they always let the doors open….perfect…so once you are inside, just tell the security guys in the entrance to let your group pass because you already have a table and maybe try to sound as german as possible and that´s it…

bis nächste mal!!
