My first impression about DeutschAkademie

My first day in DeutscheAkademie was a lot of fun. I met people in my group and we started our lesson with Themen 2 aktuell book.  In my group students were different ages from 17 to  35 which make it more fun and interesting because we have different backgrounds.  I am studying in Munich and was looking for good German courses. DeutscheAkademie has a lot of advantages: small groups, only 10 people, good location, very flexible schedule, international students, nice teachers and very open and polite office workers. Also you visit a German course in Munich and go to beautiful Salzburg. I think it is so nice when you can talk easily with office workers and they are welcome to explain you everything.  There is also a possibility to grap some sweets which are so taste. :) It was a big impression for me to have a such good client service, which is rare in many others courses.

My leisure time in Munich

There  are a lot of things you can do during your leisure time in Munich.  First of all, it is very important to take care about our health. I love sports but with student life you are always busy.  That is why whenever I have free time , I am going to swim in Olympia Swimmhalle or to my body-styling class in Olympia Gym. There are a lot of discounts for students in Central sport school.  Olympiapark is amazing for running and jogging. The heart of  Olympiapark is Olympia tower, where you can see Munich from the high point. Unforgettable feeling!!! :) If you like ice-skating I recommend you  also to go to Olympiazentrum, where you can rent skates and enjoy skating. I love it!!! :)) I have learned to skate here in Munich. It is so fun!!! ;) Second, there are a lot of museums in Munich. I am very interested in Art. One good tip for museum fans: always go to museums on Sundays because there are discounts and tickets will cost you only 1€. Isn`t that great? ;)

Test or how to survive German grammar!!!

TestYesterday we had a final test in our group. You are always nervous when it comes time to check your knowledge. I think it is good idea to have tests in classes, so you can always know what you need to learn and what you already know.  for me German grammar is very hard, but I never give up.  I believe it is very important to learn by heart and continue practicing!  When I first started learning German everything for me was unclear but now time to time I start understand grammar structures. It takes time to get it right!  In our test we had exercises with  “zu.” Do you know when to use ” zu” with infinitives? I have learned that you never use it with modal verbs, Konjuktiv, and some verbs such as sehen, hören, etc.  Please remember, we are using “zu” with the following verbs:

versuchen (etwas) zu machenvergessen  (etwas) zu machenhelfen  (etwas) zu machenLust haben (etwas) zu machenZeit haben (etwas) zu machen

Munich and Bavaria

FrauenkircheMünchen ist eine große Stadt! Ich mag München sehr! Es gibt viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zum Beispiel: Frauenkirche, Rathaus, Stadt Opera, Olimpia Park, Deutsches Museum, Friedensengel und so weiter. Mein Lieblingsplatz ist Marienplatz.I love Munich! It is an amazing city with a lot of sightseeings such as Frauenkirche, Olympiapark with famous Tower, Rathaus,  Peterskirche, Viktualienmarkt, Marienplatz, etc.  Munich is a capital of Bavarian and thus is famous for Oktoberfest. During the Beer festival you can see a lot of Bavarians dressed up in traditional clothes which is very colorful and beautiful. My favorite place in Munich is Marienplatz with famous shopping street. White sausages with pretzels are traditional food of Bavaria. So if you have chance to visit Munich do not hesitate to try it. “Schmeckt sehr gut” as Germans say! :))

The last day….

img_4789.jpgFinally, it is a last day of my course 2A and I’m looking forward to take 2B course. Usually, at last day of your courses in DeutshAkademie students are going to have “Ausflug,” but it was raining and we decided to stay at our class. We had a very nice breakfast instead, during which we had a nice talk in German about our summer plans. Everyone brought something for breakfast. One of our students Martin from Sweden even cooked a cake. So nice!!! :) We become almost a family. The only sad thing is to say goodbye. Some students continue their course, some going back home and some have other plans to do…. But nevertheless we all will remember our funny time at DeutschAkademie! :)

My group 2A in DeutschAkademie

img_4787.jpgIt is very interesting to meet people from all over the world: Russia, Croatia, Serbia, Denmark, USA, Irland,  Rumania, Sweden. I enjoy my German class in DeutschAkademie. Here we can learn not only German but also about different cultures. What I like the most that we have small groups, only 10 people which makes our communication and studying much easier compare to other German courses. We are beginners but we can already speak a lot in German. :) My group mates are very friendly and open. When you don’t understand something they are always happy to help. I believe it is very crucial to learn German in a very cosy atmosphere.
