Since I started writing articles for this blog, I really want to share with you some of my favorite places in Munich. But first, I decided to start with a small introduction and tell you about my passion. I like taking pictures. I really do. That is why, most of the places I will share with you are perfect for taking pictures. I promise you will get a great chance to get a great shot. So let’s come right to the point. Today, I would like to tell you about endless stairway in downtown Munich. “Umschreibung” or “rewriting” was erected in 2004 by Olafur Eliasson – a Danish-Icelandic artist. For me it is one of the most unique places in the city. Every time I come there I wonder how the author got the idea to design something like this.
What comes to your mind when you look at it? What kind of message does the author mean to bring us? For me it is definitely a sign to stop and think about my life and my goals. We can spend an entire life chasing something and notice nothing else. Probably because we do not follow our heart. As a result, our life turns into a routine. We are stuck in a rut and life looks like this endless stairway. Maybe it is right time to take a break and enjoy the moment, time to take care of yourself.
