From my Dutch studies ( I did my masters in Netherlands ) I recall the typisch new years’ greetings: Gelukkig nieuwjaar!

In Germany it’s tradition to say: “einen guten Rutsch ins Neujahr”
Literally: a good slide into the new year!

 

 

 

So guys I am here to wish you a great start for this 2012, hopefully the year I am gonna lear proper German!!
