How Germany changed me

In June I will celebrate one and a half years of living in Bayern. And there’s some changes in my lifestyle:

  • I started to eat more bio product. A lot of Germans are going crazy (in a good way) about organic (bio) products. The prices are a bit higher but you pay to get better quality
  • Safety. I feel safe when I go back home in the evening. I feel safe in  public transport (bus, subway etc)
  • I started to travel more. Germany located in the middle of Europe so it is way easier to travel. For example it takes only one and a half hour to get to Salzburg, Austria. But the most important thing for Russians is that you do not need an extra Visa if you are traveling to Schengen countries
  • I fell in love with hiking. Germans are obsessed with the hiking. Me either. Two years ago I would have never believed that it would become like that
  • The most important thing is that I was taught how to take care of the environment. I’m trying to avoid any kind of plastic bags and to do the waste sorting more efficiently
  • And last but not least there is the funniest thing that happened to me: I have never eaten so much bread and sausage in my entire life. I do not why but for some reasons it is so delicious here.
