This is the third day I’m learning at DeutschAkademie. I slowly develop good relationships with my classmates and we have a certain group for group working which happens a lot in class. We have five girls in class from all over the world, we have Europeans and Asians. But it seems we don’t have problems in communicating because everyone can speak English and we also try to communicate in German to enhance our oral German.

In today’s class, at the beginning, our teacher prepared some learning cards to help us to reviewed what we’ve learnt yesterday, we have three papers, on each it’s a room and there are things in the room which needs us to write down their names. Like in “das Zimmer”, there is “das Sofa”, “der Stuhl”, “der Tisch”, etc. those expressions are pretty basic but important. In English, we don’t  identify the gender of words, but in German we do. So we’re told to memorize words with their articles which is difficult in the beginning but will get easier for the future learning. Thank you teacher for giving such good learning method.
