Exercise: describe a movement
Now, we'll listen to examples that describe a movement into a specific direction. So, we can ask the question "where to", or in German "wohin". Do you remember which case we have to use? Correct, the Akkusativ. Again, we'll hear the German sentence first and then the English translation:
Wir fahren mit dem Lift auf den Berg. → We're taking the ski lift up the mountain.
Du fährst hinter die Skihütte und dann siehst du die Piste. → You have to go behind the ski lodge and then you will see the ski slope.
Stephen und Michael wollen nicht in das Café gehen. → Stephen and Michael don't want to go to the café.
Komm neben mich. → Come next to me.
Philip legt seine Skibrille unter den Sitz. → Philip puts his ski goggles under the car seat.
