Guten Tag Miteinander

Ich hatte letztens eine Diskussion und habe mir hier eine professionellere Meinung erhofft.

Es ging darum, dass man ausstellen gemäss Duden umgangssprachlich, auch im Sinne von ausschalten verwenden kann. Meiner Meinung nach, kann man dann auch sagen stell das Licht aus. Was sind eure Meinungen hierzu?

Man "kann" natürlich "ausstellen" sagen, aber man "sollte" nicht (Modalverben!).

Wenn Duden "umgangssprachlich" steht, bedeutet das, dass das Verb im Standarddeutschen falsch ist.
